Congratulations Opus County

Opus County defeated Azzurri last Thursday night to earn the right to represent Massachusetts in the Women's Amateur Cup division of the National Cups.  Opus County will face NYAC of Eastern NY on June 1st in the semifinal match.

Support EMWSL teams in National Cup

Opus County and Azzurri, two teams from Division 1 of EMWSL, will be competing in the Women's Amateur Division of the National Cup competition.  Their state level game will take place this Thursday, May 15th at 8PM at Woburn High School.

The winner of the game on Thursday night will advance to the regional level of this competition.

ASSISTANT WOMEN'S SOCCER COACHES NEEDED

Lasell College in Newton, MA is in need of an assistant coach of women's soccer. Candidates must be NSCAA or USSF certified and experience coaching collegiate soccer is preferred. EMWSL Launching New Over 30 Division for Spring 2008

The EMWSL will be forming a new division to accommodate the Over 30 players in the soccer community.  This division will debut in the spring of 2008.  The details, structure, and adaptation of rules is currently underway with guidance from our Over 30 Committee.  Anyone interested in joining that committee is welcome.  For additional information or to join the committee, teams and individuals should contact Diana at president@emwsl.org.  We are currently accepting applications from interested teams.
